Guardian Professional services are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Driver/porter/Equipment room Attendant to join our airport operations team. This role supports daily ground operations by transporting materials, assisting with luggage and equipment handling, and maintaining the organization and readiness of equipment room. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment secure airport environment and is committed to delivering excellent service.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for being at work every scheduled day, on time and in uniform.
- safely operate company vehicle on airport grounds in compliance with airport and TSA regulations.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.
- Reports all breaches per applicable methods
- Evaluates and responds to alerts in surrounding area with professionalism and according to company protocol
- Alerts Supervisor on Duty when situation requires escalation per company protocol
- Assist with loading and unloading luggage, cargo, and operational supplies.
- Provide courteous assistance to staff and passenger as needed.
- Support ground crew and provide courteous assistance to staff and passenger as needed.
- Adheres to all Company service and operating standards.
- Communicate effectively and clearly while screening for safety & security
- Loading passenger luggage onto the security screening induction belt
- Working closely with the Airline Ticket Counter Agents
- Customer Service skills needed
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Must be able to pass background clearance verification.
- Must have valid Driver's License and proof of car insurance.
- Must be able to lift up to 75lbs consistently throughout the shift
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, bend, push, pull throughout entire shift
- Experience in customer service preferred
- Hospitality experience a plus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills using appropriate grammar, tone, and pronunciation to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
- Complete all required training including airport compliance
- Able to obtain an airport badge

Location: Laguardia Airport, New York
Hourly rate: 21.25
Need someone who is open to a flexible schedule
Must have Valid drivers’ license with clean driving record (required)
- Ability to obtain and maintain airport security clearance/badge
